Use AI to prepare the case before letting it influence the decision

A useful AI summary should reduce the time needed to understand a case while preserving the evidence behind it. If staff must verify every sentence by searching from scratch, the apparent productivity gain may disappear.
Start with a constrained task: summarize the customer's issue, identify relevant records and suggest the responsible team. Require source links and leave the balance under the authority of the accounting system. A reviewer should approve consequential customer communications and financial changes.
FBI guidance recommends verifying changes to banking and invoice information.[1] An AI-generated summary must not convert an unverified payment-change request into an approved instruction.
Test ambiguous messages and missing evidence, not only easy examples. Measure review time, unsupported statements and wrong routing. Keep the original messages available and provide a manual fallback. A model should be allowed to say that the record is insufficient rather than fabricate a confident answer.
The AI pilot guide sets out the operating boundaries. The integration tests cover the surrounding controls needed before generated recommendations can influence live workflows.
