Two Ways Airan Helps Programs Regain Control.

Both services can start with an assessment or go straight to recovery leadership. Choose one to see the problems it addresses, what Airan does and how an engagement begins.

ERP Turnaround & Stabilization

Enterprise Transformation Recovery

For enterprise technology initiatives where delivery has broken down across several projects, teams and vendors, and leadership no longer has one reliable view of progress. Airan can provide project and program management leadership within these engagements.

  • Troubled technology program recovery
  • Governance across several projects and vendors
  • Cross functional dependency coordination
  • Recovery plan execution
  • Resource and decision bottlenecks
  • Program forecasting and reporting
  • Enterprise application consolidation

Problems addressed

  • Projects reporting progress on different terms
  • Dependencies falling between teams and vendors
  • Forecasts that do not match spend or progress
  • Scarce people and slow decisions holding up delivery

Typical triggers

When leaders call

Situations That Usually Prompt a Conversation.

  • ERP go live repeatedly postponed

Each new date arrives with less confidence than the last.

  • Critical processes not ready

Close, billing, procurement or supply chain processes are not ready to run on the new system.

  • Implementation vendor disputes

Disagreement over scope, defects or acceptance is slowing the work itself.

  • Budget rising without a trusted forecast

Funding requests grow and leadership cannot test the numbers behind them.

  • Workstream dependencies unresolved

Integration, data or environment dependencies sit between teams with no owner.

  • Steering has lost confidence in reporting

Leadership is no longer sure the status it receives reflects reality.

  • A new CIO inherits a troubled program

A new leader needs an independent baseline before making commitments.

  • Unstable production after go live

Incidents, backlogs and workarounds keep growing after the move into production.

Not every one of these situations calls for a recovery engagement. Sometimes a focused assessment, a governance change or one clear decision is enough. The first conversation is about working out which.

Paid entry engagement

Independent Implementation Risk & Recovery Assessment.

A fixed scope, independent review of one project or program. Airan tests reported status against the records and the people involved, then gives leadership a scorecard, findings and a recovery action roadmap. It is optional. You can engage Airan for recovery without it.

What counts as one documentArtifact size limits, adjustments and missing evidence

Artifact size limits

  • One agreed logical artifact, not an entire project repository.
  • General text document: up to 25 substantive pages.
  • Spreadsheet: up to 10 active tabs and 15,000 populated cells.
  • Presentation: up to 40 slides.
  • Project schedule: up to 250 activities.
  • RAID register: up to 100 active entries.
  • A revised version submitted for comparison normally counts as another document.
  • Attachments and appendices are counted separately when detailed analysis is requested.

Adjustments

The selected artifact list may be adjusted by mutual agreement when a document does not apply to the project's stage or delivery model. Substitution does not increase the package's review entitlement.

Missing evidence

An absent or unavailable document may be reported as an assessment limitation or control gap. Airan does not assume that unavailable evidence demonstrates project health.

Experience and qualifications

Delivery Leadership Built in Large Enterprise Programs.

Airan engagements are led at principal level. The experience behind them comes from senior roles running enterprise application delivery, IT operations and vendor governance at scale.

A delivery lead working through a plan on a whiteboard
  • More than 20 years in enterprise IT leadership, program delivery and IT operations
  • Responsible for a technology delivery P&L of about $23 million
  • Led globally distributed delivery organizations of more than 80 people in environments with several vendors
  • Enterprise application programs, including Oracle, from implementation through operations
  • Incident management, SLA performance and service delivery improvement
  • Vendor governance, stakeholder management and executive reporting

This experience was gained by Airan's founder in senior roles with previous employers. It describes career history, not engagements delivered by Airan LLC.

To be clear about what Airan is

  • Airan is not an Oracle partner and does not claim software vendor certification.
  • The assessment is a management review, not a statutory, financial, security or technical audit.
  • Airan takes on a limited number of engagements at a time, so each gets principal level attention.
  • Consulting and systems integration firms can engage Airan as a subcontracted assessor or delivery leader.
FAQ

Questions About ERP and Program Recovery

Can Airan help if our implementation partner is already engaged?

Yes. Most recoveries happen with the existing partner in place. Airan works with the partner and your internal team to establish the facts, agree the plan and track delivery against it.

Do we have to replace our existing systems integrator?

No. Airan's role is to restore control and accountability, not to replace your partner. Whether to change partners stays your decision. If you ask, Airan will give an evidence based view to inform it.

Must we purchase an assessment before recovery management?

No. The assessment helps when leadership needs an independent baseline first. If the problems are already understood, Airan can be engaged directly for recovery planning, recovery management or program leadership. Those engagements are scoped on their own.

How are findings validated?

Each finding is traced to the documents reviewed, the interviews held or both. Airan separates verified observations from unresolved questions, tests draft findings with the relevant stakeholders before they are final and states any limitations in the evidence.

Can Airan take over day to day project management?

Yes, where agreed. Airan can act as recovery manager or program manager, alongside or in place of an existing project manager, as you decide. The role, authority and duration are set out in the written agreement.

What authority does Airan need to manage recovery?

Enough to make the plan work, agreed in writing: clear decision rights, access to stakeholders and vendors, a direct escalation path to the sponsor and the ability to run the governance cadence. Airan does not control your employees, budgets or independent vendors beyond the authority you and your contracts provide.

How is an engagement scoped?

Assessments come in three fixed scope packages, Focused, Standard and Expanded, with optional additions. Recovery and delivery leadership is scoped to the program, your timelines and the role Airan plays. Contact Airan and we will send a proposal that fits.

What technical work is excluded?

Hands on technical remediation, configuration, development, source code reviews, full ERP configuration validation, security penetration testing and legal or financial audits. These remain with your teams and vendors unless additional specialist resources are expressly contracted.

Can Airan support Oracle financial systems initiatives?

Yes, at the level of governance, recovery and readiness. The founder's background includes Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP programs. Airan is not an Oracle partner, and certified technical specialists are engaged separately where a program needs them.

What happens if the available evidence is incomplete?

Missing evidence is reported as an assessment limitation or a control gap. Airan does not assume that unavailable evidence shows the program is healthy. Where useful, a substitute document or interview can be agreed within the package, or added with written approval.

Can consulting firms bring Airan into a client engagement?

Yes. Consulting and systems integration firms can engage Airan as a subcontracted assessor or delivery leader under a defined scope, with roles and client communication agreed in writing.

Next step

The Next Step Is to Establish What Your Program Actually Needs.

A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether you need an assessment, recovery leadership or neither. If Airan is not the right fit, we will say so.

  • Your name, business email, company and role
  • Program type: ERP turnaround, transformation recovery or assessment
  • Your primary concern
  • A general overview of the program and its stage

Please do not send confidential project documents through this form. If an engagement goes ahead, documents are shared under agreed confidentiality terms.
